The view of Mount Index from this log retreat is breathtaking. Proceed East on Hwy 2 at Monroe toward Wenatchee/Stevens Pass. Travel through Monroe, Sultan, Startup and Gold Bar. As you leave Goldbar there will be a Family Grocery Store on the Left and a Drive-In on the Right, Mt. Index River Road turn off is approximately 6.9 miles past this point and Before the Bridge and Index Cafe. You will pass over Anderson Creek shortly before the turn off to Mt. Index River Road. There is a wide turn off to the RIGHT as you enter the road. The Cabin is 1.9 miles up Mt. Index River Road. As you pass the Falls on the Left you wind up and around a bend. The cabin is the first cabin on the Left and has a circular drive. Take the second drive in. The cabin is brown with a tan front on the porch.

Policies Thank you for booking a stay at Sunset Falls Cabin. It is our policy that all guests read this information to be full informed about their and our rental obligations. Renters must sign the following to acknowledge this agreement. Payment: A reservation can be made with a non-refundable 20% deposit paid by credit card when the reservation is made. Full payment is due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date. If a check (payable to Mysty Mountain Properties) or money order is not received by the due date, the balance will be charged to your credit card. The credit card must have an expiration date that extends beyond your stay. If a reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full payment with Visa or Master Card is due when the reservation is made. Rates: Current rates are posted on the website www.vacationrentalcabins.com Washington tax (8.8%) will be added to these rates. Rates are subject to change without notice. The rate at the time of the reservation will be honored. There is no charge for children age 2 & under if sleeping in a crib (not provided) or with parents. Cancellations: Cancellations and reschedules may be made up to 30 days before the first day of your reservation. If a cancellation or reschedule is made with less notice there is no refund unless we are able to rebook the cabin in which case we will refund 90% of the days that are rebooked. All reservation changes must be acknowledged in writing. The deposit can be credited to a future reservation. Trip insurance may be purchased through CSA Travel Protection - 1-800-554-9839 to cover emergencies resulting in cancellation. Minimum Stay: There is a 2-night minimum stay with the following exceptions: 3-night minimum on most holidays and during some holiday periods; Single nights are occasionally available during mid-week. Minimum Age: Anyone under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent. Exceptions are made on an individual basis. Change in the Number of Guests/Conduct of Guests: Please inform us of any change in the number of guests before your arrival so the cabin can be prepared appropriately. No refunds are given for changes in the number of guests after your arrival. The cabin is not for parties, nor gatherings at any time of anyone except for those who have paid to stay there. Exceptions are made on an individual basis. Unauthorized people at the cabin at any time will result in a double charge or loss of your deposit. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund. Arrival Time: 4:00pm is the standard arrival time. If the cabin is not occupied the night before your arrival, you may be able to arrive early. Unless you have arranged an early arrival time, please do not arrive early to allow us time to prepare the cabin for you. Departure time: 12:00pm is the standard departure time. Your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the cabin for the next guests. If the cabin is not booked the night of your departure, a later departure time is usually possible. Smoking: Smoking is allowed outside as long as butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire ring) or bring into the cabin. If there is any tobacco smell in the cabin after your departure, there will be a minimum $250 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning. Damage, Missing Items: Any damage to the cabin or its contents or missing item(s) will be charged to your credit card at repair or replacement cost. If there is such a charge, an explanation will be mailed to you within 15 days. If there is extensive damage or cleaning, the final charge may be after 15 days. Hot Tub: Use of the hot tub is strictly at your own risk and liability. An adult must always accompany children. Observe the safety precautions posted at the tub and have other guests do likewise. Do not sit, stand or lie on the tub cover; a $300 charge will be made if the cover is broken. Unhook the safety strap before removing the cover. Replace both covers when you are not in the tub and secure the safety strap to conserve heat, for safety, and to keep debris out of the water. Use non-breakable drink containers in the tub area. You may use whirlpool-compatible aromatherapy in limited amounts. The tub will be maintained on an as-needed basis. If the tub needs attention before then, please notify us. If the water level is low (below the water fill line) add more water or call, as low water level can destroy the pump. If the water is beginning to look cloudy or dirty, please call. Shower or bathe before using the hot tub. If the next guests are unable to use the tub due to conditions resulting from your failure to observe the above, there will be a $25 charge. |
We're sad to be leaving already! The days fly by wish there were more. Definitely worth the money for this home away from home. The internet pictures don't even come close to capturing the beauty of this place. We'll be back! Thanks- Vince and Cari Mike and I came up here on our Honeymoon and it was so wonderful.
