Fully furnished, one bedroom cottage with spiral staircase up to an extra sleeping loft. Can sleep 6. On 6 acres, with beautiful gardens and a lovely view of the waterfall and large pond across the street. Walking trails in our private woods. Wonderful spot to get back to nature, bird-watch or just sit back and relax. Writer’s retreat. Sitting areas in different parts of the yard to enjoy the view from. Children just love all the critters that are around and never want to leave! They just love to catch the frogs that live in the pond that’s right in the yard. We also have a guesthouse that’s in a converted barn, with a full size bed and an old fashion bathtub to bathe in. Kitchens have everything one would need to cook any size meals. The perfect place for two couples to stay when traveling together. Very private. Great place for family gatherings such as weddings or civil ceremonies or reunions. Words cannot describe the relaxed feeling you have when staying here. Come see for yourself! Pet friendly……..

Fully furnished, including bedding and towels. Well equipped kitchens. Cottage has 2 full size beds and 2 pull out couches that are the size of single beds. Hair Dryers,irons and ironing boards and anything else one would need. Guest house has a full size bed. Lawn chairs and gas grill too. Both places have TV’s with DVD players and VCR’s. Horseshoe pit right next to cottage for all to use. Washer and dryer to use in main house. Fresh cut flowers when in season as well as raspberries from our many bushes. Cottage has a wonderful useable fire place with wood. The best fall foliage! Babysitters available, we have 4 daughters!!!! |
| So many things to do like hiking,swimming,and boating. See a play at Good Speed Opera House which in only 5 mins away,along with the Ct. River. Gillette Castle is right up the road from us! Half an hour from the casinos and the outlets. Stay with us while attending a wedding at GoodSpeed Station. Golfing nearby at the Fox Hopyard Golf course. Fine dining at the Gelston House and other local restaurants ,and only 20 mins to Wesleyan College. Close to other attractions like Mystic and Essex Train Station. |
