You just cant ask for a better place to escape a hot Arizona summer. We are 25 to 30 degrees cooler than PHX or Tucson. Situated high in the center of the Prescott National Forest, nestled in the Bradshaw Mountain range, we are only 13 miles from Whiskey Row and downtown Prescott. The Hassayampa River starts about a half mile from our location. It has been said, the location of MG Lodge looks, feels, smells, much like the Upper Eastern Peninsula of Michigan or Big Bear Lake in California. We are a world apart from Tucson, Phoenix. Prescott is comparable to Albuquerque or Denver. Prescott is mile high. We are at 7100 feet elevation and always a brisk 8 to 10 degrees cooler than Prescott. Many of our past guests have said… “we do not feel like we are in AZ anymore”. On a mountainside lot itself, MG Lodge overlooks the Spruce Ridge and Spruce Ridge Mountain range. Views are incredible be it from our 1200 square foot wood deck (of which 600 square feet is covered) or from the heated spa. We are in the tall cool pines and just 13 miles from downtown Prescott. Prescott is mile high at 5300 feet, we are at 7100 feet, always a brisk 8 to 10 degrees cooler than Prescott and amazingly just 90 miles north of PHOENIX.
